With the 3-phase EM2GO Duo EV charging station with two 7.5-meter-long Type 2 charging cables, you can safely and quickly charge two e-vehicles at the same time. The EM2GO Wallbox with intelligent control has a variety of communication interfaces such as: Ethernet, Wi-Fi and LTE for connection to an OCPP 1.6-J capable backend, for control via ModBus TCP. Multiple wallboxes can be interconnected with the built-in local load management to distribute the available power. Furthermore, the wallbox has an integrated RFID reader for RFID cards. The built-in AC/DC sensitive residual current sensor (RCMU) protects against fault currents during charging. The 4.3-inch color display provides information during the charging process about the current state of charge, charging voltage, current and power. An LED band indicate the status of the wallbox and provide information about the proper charging process. The EM2GO EV charging station is equipped with intelligent electronics. This means that your vehicle is well protected against overvoltage/undervoltage, fault currents, short circuits and high temperatures.

The EV charging station is delivered together with the “bcharged Dashboard” (OCPP backend). The “bcharged Dashboard” includes an overview of the charging station/user and the graphical evaluations of the charging processes. The transactions can be exported for reporting purposes. Further functions, such as billing services, can be activated by value-added services in the charged dashboard.

The wallbox can be connected to an energy management system via the ModBus TCP interface to enable load management or integrate a PV system. The phase switching feature of the Home Wallbox also allows surplus charging to be used sensibly. The charging station is prepared for grid-supportive charging. Charging processes can be controlled by the grid operator via a smart meter gateway in accordance with § 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG).
